The half-wave rectifier circuit used here is same as the one described earlier, as shown in Figure 4.4. The diode model parameters used in this circuit are same as those listed in Table 4.2, except for transit time(tex2html_wrap_inline5444) and zero-bias junction capacitance(tex2html_wrap_inline5446), which are not used in the static model of a diode. Figure A.1 shows the output of the half-wave rectifier obtained after exciting the circuit with the main household AC power supply. This figure shows the output obtain from SPICE(v(3)) and SEAMS(vout).
