I'm currently in my second year of the PhD CS program at the University of Cincinnati. My research interests include distributed systems, volunteer computing/storage, and networks. Before entering the University of Cincinnati, I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Engineering from CMU and a M.S. in Computer Science from U.C. Berkeley under Professor David Culler. My current co-advisers are Dr. Kenneth A. Berman and Dr. Fred Annexstein from CS, and Dr. Urmila Ghia from the Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering Department. I'm funded via a Ohio Space Grant Consortium (OSGC) Fellowship.
My PhD thesis research involves building a large-scale volunteer storage system capable of supporting computational-fluid dynamics (CFD) I/O workloads.
I'm involved in the Adult Literacy Council of Clermont & Brown Counties and a member of the League of Women Voters of Cincinnati.
